Been researching for a few months while trying to find someone to do the work. $4,500 max budget including labor costs. Looking to make as much power out of the current motor in the car(91 formula). Was originally considering a full stock rebuild as that may be the best for the budget. I'm unsure if just spending money for good heads and a slightly upgraded cam would be the best as the motor would not have to be pulled from the car greatly decreasing labor costs. The motor currently has about 170,000 miles on it, so I'm not sure how the internals are looking. Already have a set of headers + exhaust ready to go on

 

AFR enforcer heads, cam of your choice. Timing set and gaskets, etc. Tuning. The rest (more than half) will go to labor if you are paying someone to install.
