1984 Trans Am Fuel Pump

I have a question regarding this. I recently inherited a 1984 Trans Am. It has a mechanical fuel pump on the motor, Do I also have an electrical pump in the tank?

It could have a lift pump. Check to see how many wires goto the tank. The connector is on the drivers side front of the tank.
