Idle and revs great. Stalls when trying to move???

I recently came into a 92 rs 3.1 5 speed. Not running at the time. I've put a new fuel pump, spark plugs, coil, alternator, and o2s. Car starts great and revs up no problem. But as soon as I put it in gear and try to let out on the clutch. It wants to stall. In neutral the car rolls fine so no brakes are locked up and rear end turns fine. And even if I push the clutch in before it stalls. It takes a few seconds for the engine to come back to a normal idle. It just seems to hate any load. No codes at all. Anyone else have this issue or any ideas. I'm running put of ideas.

Welcome Aboard!

How much end play is in the crank, engine off, clutch released?

Does this happen in reverse gear as well as first?

Can you lift the and support the rear axle to try this bacially unloaded?

Thanks.
I haven't checked end play. But yes it does it in first and Rev. I haven't tried to support the rear end and see if it does. I'll definitely try that and check the crank as well.

If I Rev it up pretty high I can move it. But ive only gone as far as to the end of the driveway. I don't trust it to go any further.

Sounds fuelish to me. Not a clutch problem at all.

Fuel pressure is 45 psi at the fuel rail. Could be an injector issue. I haven't done any testing on them other than making sure fuel pressure holds after key is off and it only dropped about 4 psi in 5 minutes. It smells like it's rich when running.

The coil definitely made it run better. But obviously not enough to drive it.

I would take resistance measurements for each fuel injector...
as well as run some fuel-system cleaner and fresh 91/93 octane fuel through the engine.

I have about 8 oz seafoam in the fuel tank of ethanol free 91 Oct. But haven't tested the injectors yet. That is on the list. Do you happen to know the spec on them?

They should be around 16 ohms. When you test them try to do it when the injectors are hot and cold.

So I went ahead and did a compression test and all cylinders are between 168 and 173. And ohmed all injectors "cold" only but they all measured from 12.0 to 12.5 ohms. Didnt have time to do them hot.
