Vacuum advance distributer.

I was looking on summits and jegs websites and I can't find one which is vacuum advance. Most are mechanical, there are a few which are both mechanical and vacuum, can these be used?
I plan on eith switiching my LO3 to a carb or wait and just put it on my 350.

Yes, all vacuum advance distributors have mechanical advance as well (springs and flyweight mechanism).

Yes. They can be used. On some you can lock out the mechanical advance or not use the vacuum advance if it meets your needs.

When people say you need a "mechanical advance" distributor for a carb conversion, what they really mean is "non-computer controlled" distributor. The proper way to call it is vacuum/mechanical advance.

Unless you do all your driving at WOT and only for 1320 feet at a time, you want a distributor with mechanical and vacuum advance.
