AFR 195 identify numbers

Got an engine with AFR heads i am looking at,,,,, apparently they are 195 intake Eliminator heads. AND still on the motor.

Front markings ar stamped L-98 SM

would these be the 65cc or 75cc chamber heads.

The heads are never run and still new and on a complete engine.

I want to know what the chamber size is so i can make an offer.

Mine have the chamber size stamped directly underneath the L-98, but they’re about 10 years old.

Re: AFR 195 identify numbers

Most of us are probably only going to be able to speculate. Might want to contact afr and ask. They have been pretty helpful to enthusiasts.
For the record, my 65cc chamber 180cc were L-98 SM. Probably denotes spark plug angle of L-98 and small chamber size. But again, I'm speculating.

Re: AFR 195 identify numbers

I bought a pre-eliminator set of AFR heads a few years back and IIRC when I called AFR with all the numbers on the heads they really weren't able to tell me anything about them expect the obvious. If you can't pull them to get measurements and volumes I would just be content knowing that they are an AFR head which for a SBC always ranks in the top of the list for head choices. But since those are Eliminator heads they may have better records.

Do you have pictures? Eliminator heads usually have barcode stickers on them.
