Cold Air Intake

I have a TFS-23070 (https://www.trickflow.com/parts/tfs-23070) going into a 1991 Camaro with an LS swap. The throttle body has a metal elbow as seen here that I think is used for crank ventilation from the PCV. Yet the intake tube has a similar connector (who's instructions claim are also for crank ventilation from the PCV). Looking for suggestions. Is one supposed to vent to old 3rd gen vapor canister? Thank you!
