Help 90 iroc 5.0 tpi

Hello, I’m not sure if this is the right place to post it or if someone posted something like this already. Okay, so I have a 1990 camaro iroc z with a 5.0 tpi I recently purchased. I changed out the Injectors yesterday. Ran fine all day. Now I wanted to start it and it would start but sounded like it was misfiring badly with smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe. I did the paperclip trick to read the codes. I have the 43- knock sensor error and 53 codes. I’m going to attempt to change out the knock sensor. Does anybody know where the location of the knock sensor is? Any help would gladly be appreciated!

Re: Help 90 iroc 5.0 tpi

It is forward of the starter motor underneath the car. Best of luck getting to it without a lift, its a tough reach. Here is a diagram, wish I could get you a picture.

Realistically though, if the car did not have those codes before you messed with it, and now it does, then it likely has much to do with what you did (or didn't do properly) that caused them to happen. The knock sensor is there to tell the ECU when detonation is occurring, and that may very well be the case if the improper injectors were installed, or the wiring harness was not properly reinstalled for each injector. As 57kid is fond of saying, Occom's Razor.
