Hey guys

Just a quickie, I swapped out engines, all's well but now My heater controlls aren't working. I've got variable fan except the HIGHEST setting, and my "vent" was set to defrost during the swap and nothing will switch it off of it and to "vent" "heater" or otherwise.

What did I miss? It had to be in the engine bay, I dont have any vacuum lines left over except EGR which are plugged. The fan blower works..

Any ideas ?

 

By the way the fuse is good

 

The selector for the vents is vacuum operated... there should be at least two hoses coming through the firewall (near the drivers side?) that connect to manifold vacuum to operate it. Check those first.

 

Are you reffering to the two vacuum lines that appear to head straight for both wiper motors?

What would explain my HIGH fan setting not working?
