Spark Plug wires instalation 2002 Chevy

Should you always hear a click putting wire on plugs I can't get them to click to let me know they are on properly

Dielectric grease can dampen the click. Try pushing a wire onto a spark plug in your hands so you know what to feel for.

Depends on the brand of spark wire. I had a set that wouldn't 'click' but they were seated properly. If the car is misfiring try use a spark tester to make sure you are getting current from the distributor to the plugs.
