Engine misfire(1986 2.8l TPI)

Someone please help, having trouble with my daily. So my engine is missing especially at high rpms, it has new plugs wires and connector cap. I also noticed that my o2 sensor doesn't have a wire hooking to it or anything, could that be the issue?

It's possible.

Fix all the obvious stuff first before you begin troubleshooting.

Is that a high mileage 2.8? I'm thinking valve springs might be weak. Could be in the fuel delivery too, filter, pump, dirty injectors but the high rpm deal is not so common with those.
