'87 350 block
Is an '87 350 block drilled and tapped for a manual trans z-bar as the earlier small blocks?
I know the '84-up F bodies used hydraulic linkage but I dropped my engine off at the machine shop the other day before I checked it. It's from an '87 IROC and I plan to use it in an earlier 2nd gen with a 4 speed and it uses the ball stud screwed into the block.

Re: '87 350 block
I think it's a case of some are, some aren't. I have 95 block and the boss above the oil filter and the one part way forward are both drilled and tapped. I don't recall which one is used on the early fbody clutch linkage.
