Sbc to carb lt1

Hey guys,
so i have a carb'd 3970010 350 hei with msd box. Motor seems pooched. Sounds like a collapsed lifter. Just bought the car after it sat for 2.5 yrs. So... I have the opportunity to trade a 5.3 LM7 core for a running 96 LT1 engine. So to convert to hei/carb with no ecu, just msd ignition box 6al that is running the car now, what do i need?
I plan to swap the carb and hei dizzy i have now over. I know I need the optispark delete plate. Balancer to clear the opti delete plate. And the intake manifold.

What else would I need? Looking for cheapest intake mani to use. As future plans is to swap one of my LQ9 engines in, but I haven't finished porting the 243 heads, bought the MSD LS ign box, motor mounts b flexplate adaptor and the electric independent fuel pump etc. But I can afford the time to start the ls swap vs just buying cheap intake mani and opti block-off plate and balancer with a typical sbc r&r. A couple days vs weeks of my free time for ls swap. I have other builds going on. Now this LT1 is a straight swap. Now if there is more parts to the lt1 to sbc conversion to buy, then not going thru with it. I'm guessing need the water pump also and matching serpentine pulleys n belts as I have old school v belt from early 80s.
If anyone has done this swap/build, please chime in.

Thanks in advance

Re: Sbc to carb lt1

Of course, the installation will require an external thermostat in a housing with some recirculation plumbing. Someone used to make/sell an LT1 retrofit kit like that just for the purpose.

LT1 carb intakes are not all that common either.
