I’m installing the new gapless gasported piston rings.
My engine is a 388 SBC flattop pistons with some other cool stuff, I won’t bore you with details unless you ask. They are currently about 600 bucks, a lot of benefits in running these. On the quest to go fast.
Made excellent power at the dyno, good leak down cylinder numbers, compression numbers and with a .550” lift, 190cc runners and 220 duration it made 450 hp and tq. Given the camshaft was a kitty cam. Throw more duration in that cam and it’s pretty impressive how well a motor with kick *** rings will do

I used a set of AFR 912’s, they are a Vortec AL head Basically. Just stay tuned though the next engine will be a screamin 355. Not your average small block, I may start a YouTube channel showing some very intriguing and informative engine builds using new technology etc etc.
