Idles fine - under load over 30-45 km/h hard stutters
Hey all!
I have a 85’ Trans am w a 305 and an auto trans. I’ve done a lot to get the car up and running again and she idles like a champ. I took it out to a show last night and she barely made the 10 min trip. Under acceleration or load she stutters HARD and boarder line stalls out. Could it be a spark issue? A fuel delivery issue or am I over looking something completely!? Any suggestions would be amazing!

Is the car TPI or carb? Start with the basics, I would check fuel pressure and go from there, how long ago was the fuel filter changed etc.?

could be fuel for sure - my 88 GTA had similar behavior under load when the fuel pump was dying. As Reddragon said easy stuff first, check fuel pressure first on the schrader valve - check condition of a spark plug or two - check your distributor rotor and cap condition
