Vacuum lines coming from firewall eaten by rodent…

Hi All.
I just purchased a 1992 Z28 with only 3300 miles on the car. Unfortunately there was a rodent enjoying its self under the hood on wires and a few vacuum hose/ tubes coming at the right side fire wall and coming out of wire loom. I do see one of the vacuum tubes goes to the HVAC hot water valve. Not sure we’re the 2nd eaten vacuum tube goes. Will attach pics. Any help is well appreciated!

H

Here is a diagram of the vacuum tubes coming out of loom by right side firewall. The circled one is the one I’m trying to locate we’re it goes to on the other end.

One goes to heater core coolant diverter valve. Other goes to a tee behind the intake manifold (which is actually a vacuum valve). The tee is the vacuum source that runs all the actuators for the HVAC doors.

Thanks for the quick response Qwktrip! I did notice the vents were not operating as well.
while I got you here I have another question. The radio seems to have power as it shows the time on the clock. I pushed all buttons on clock with only one button to change display to last station and then it returns to the time. Any thoughts?

I don't remember how those radios work. I think in my firebird I pressed on either the volume **** or tuning **** to switch between viewing clock or radio station. Somebody else will know for sure.

I’m looking for the vacuum valve behind intake manifold with no luck as of yet. Is the valve screwed onto the intake manifold on the backside?

The other side of that tee has another plastic vacuum line that goes near the windshield wiper motor and routes over to the driver side fender. Maybe find that line and follow it back behind the engine.

check out this YouTube video we’re this guy explains the vacuum under the hood. Talks and shows the vacuum feed for the HVAC vent door system near the beginning of the video at 2 minutes 45 seconds in. And again at 6 minutes in is a better description for the Camaro.
I took a look at my car and someone put a rubber plug over the vacuum port on intake manifold to stop the vacuum leak.

Good deal, glad you found it. Sorry for the slight misdirection, it was behind the engine on my V6 car and I kept it back there with my LS7.
