New build- only fires on starting fluid when cold

Hello all. 1988 Formula 350, bored 30 over, Howards cam (card pic attached), new injectors, new fuel pump (43 psi at rail ) 083 heads redone. Timing at 6 degrees BTDC. After i got it built it would start and run no problem. Now just cranks sort of tries to fire but not quite. A small shot of starting fluid into the TB and it fires instantly but i have to open the throttle a bit to keep it from running. The CSI is in but not wired. cant find the wires to it in the harness. Also occasionally throws a 34 code. I have searched extensively on this but no avail. Any chance you guys have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

If it runs at all then I'd not aim at the icm..yet. Not saying it's perfectly good but if it runs, you have spark. The csi is in but not wired, did you tune it out of the ecm? Otherwise the ecm isn't firing enough fuel in to begin with.

I haven't done any tuning yet. I bought the software and cable just need to learn how. But the CSI wasn't wired prior to me rebuilding the engine. After i start it the first time it will fire again if i shut it off but if i let it sit overnight or even a few hours it just cranks. Thank you for replying!
