I don't think you are going to find new ones. I would just refurbish what you have if you want to retain stock parts.

I apologize. I should have put that in the description. The front LCA. I know S-10 is interchangeable and I think it’s all 80s-90s but just trying to verify and get a part number. I know rock auto has lower control arms for S10s

Re: 1989 lower control arms

That's all you need to know.

AFAIK that same control arm was also on A & G bodies (Chevelle & Monte Carlo along with their BOP siblings), maybe other chassis as well, since the early 70s.

Engineer once, use everywhere.

So would you go with Moog or AC Delco. I’m not concerned with the price.

Re: 1989 lower control arms

AC Delco is just a brand name on a box... the name still belongs to GM, but like nearly everything else GM (or Frod or M-B or Honda or...) sells as replacement parts, comes from wherever they get the best deal. Whatever costs the least while meeting the specs.

Case in point: I needed some relays the other day. Poked around and researched the best I could. I ended up buying AC Delco brand, butt only because I could see what was ACTUALLY in the box. (bag) Knowing that it wasn't some steaming pile of cheeeepest of the cheeeeeep, and the price wasn't that much different anyway, I made my choice.

It's entirely possible - LIKELY in fact - that the part in an AC Delco box was actually made by Moog. Moog is just a brand name, on its own, anymore; but the name is owned by a BIG manufacturer of all manner of auto parts, Federal-Mogul. F-M is a YYYYYUUUUUUUUUJJJJJJJE supplier to OEMs worldwide for new car manufacturing.

True, in todays market. You can’t really trust what is what. Like you said it’s just a name. You could be paying a lot because of the name, but maybe getting some part made in back of warehouse along with other big name brands. But the manufacturer is paying next to nothing to get them built m, but the consumer is paying the cost.

Unless you’re actually building it, you don’t know of the quality, but doesn’t matter if you buy $80K truck or $3k they can both break down anytime.
