ok guys im confused now?

ok my car was running real bad like running rich and all. Well I unplugged my MAF sensor which is only like 5 months old and now it runs really good. The idle is real good its not running rich I have good throttle response and everything. I dont get it why would it run good with out it plugged in but with it plugged in it runs like crap.

Maybe you need a new maf. Seems like it shouldn't go bad since it's so new but you never know.

My 94 had that problem one time. It wouldn't even start. I unplugged the maf and the thing would run but with ses light. Turns out that the air foil had come undone and got lodged into the throttle body. Just enough to restrict air. The MAF told the computer that it was recieving too much air or something. I don't really understand all of the sensors and how they work but I put the air foil back into the intake bellow like it was supposed to be and that has been a year and a half ago. Do you have any friends that have a car like yours? You could try out a different maf to see if that is the problem.

Try replacing the maf power and burnoff relays, that should fix the problem. They are located on the drivers side firewall near the fuel pump relay.
