Wiper blades..longer than stock?

Is anyone running longer than the stock 18" on the passenger or driver's side?..Going to replace mine this week and it looks like I could get by with a 19 or 20 on the drivers side.

If there is adequate clearance (no rubbing on anything but glass) everywhere while parked and operating, and spring pressure of the arm is sufficient to hold down a longer blade without chatter at road speeds, there should be no problems.

Thanks for reply..went 18" on pass side a 20" on drivers side..There was plenty of room but gosh didn't consider having a problem at road speeds. Maybe back then auto manufacturers didn't consider staggering sizes but though I'd take advantage of some extra sweep..Well only a road test in a downpour will seal the deal now.

Should be good with longer ones, the slight extra surface area wont affect things.
