Does anyone have the I/C of the L82 cam?

 

Do an Advanced search on member "Fast355" and "L82 cam". He likes that cam. Personally I hate it; has disappointed me since the very first time I came across a motor with one in it (let's say, late 70s sometime), every other time somebody has insisted that I put it into a motor I was building for them (kinda like the old - 60s - 151 cam), and every other builder I've ever known that's been stuck with it for whyever; butt he gets results that are irreproducible with it anywhere except in his van (everything is better in a van, just ask him), so, yeah. He probably has the specs.

 

My experiences with the cam mirrors Sofa's. It is a retarded cam - using zero advance at the timing chain, it should give you 115 Intake center and exhaust center at 113 degrees (lobe separation angle of 114 degrees). If you are asking because you're planning on using one and can't be talked into using just about anything else,,,,, do yourself a HUGE favor and advance the intake center line as much as you think you can get away with.
