VSS Translator for 86 ECM?

VSS Translator for 86 ECM?
We have a problem here in Australia and maybe someone can help us out here.
My Friend has a 1991 Camaro RS TBI, and he is doing an engine swap and putting in a 350 TPI and running MAF.
Now the problem we have is his car is equipped with VSS and the 86 ECM he will be using does not have any Input Pin for VSS. Is there any kind of translator we can wire up or something else maybe?
Does anyone have any recommendations on this?
