As I said in the title, anytime I open the driver side or passenger side door, the alarm goes off. Even with the key in the ignition the alarm does not shut off. I have tried disconnecting the battery, waiting, then reconnecting it but the alarm still goes off when I open a door. I have also tried re learning the key but that did not work either.

Would it be better to try and bypass the system, or have it removed completely via a tune?

Would either of these options cause further problems?

Is there a better option?

 

Vats isn’t hooked to the door switches. Sounds like a aftermarket alarm system.
