No fuel from injectors TBI; tested everything I know
No fuel from injectors TBI; tested everything I know
I have read about every post out there for common problems to troubleshoot when the injectors are not firing, but I'm at a dead end. Here is what I've done:
Replaced sending unit and fuel pump because they had failed
Tested:
Both injectors read 1.5ohms
Both injector wires have 12 volts
Both injector wires flash with noid lights when cranking
TPS voltage is correct around .5V idle and ~4.5V wide open
Fuel pressure at TBI is 12psi
Could it be the fuel pressure regulator? Please advise.

Does it have spark? Test by pouring some fuel down the throttles and trying to start it.

if this has sat unused for a year or more, injectors are probably stuck-a firm bump on top the injector between the terminal pins with a hard, blunt object usually gets them working again

If they're that bad, just "rebuild" them.
Disassemble, soak in lacquer thinner for a few hours, reassemble with new paper & rubber. No-brainer. The kit is like $15 or some such. Even if you disturb the injectors into working mechanically, cleaning all the crud out of them will make a YYYYYUUUUUUUUUJJJJJJJJE difference in how it runs.

That did it... I've been trying for more than a week to troubleshoot this thing and a couple of taps fixed it!? Thank you for the suggestion! Trending Topics
