Why do the 113 heads flow less than the iron L98 heads
Curious why they flow less and what kind of work is needed to make them flow the same as the iron heads.
Edit: I believe i got bad info from the thread i read regarding 083s vs 113s but in case its correct i would like to know if there is any loss in flow with the 113s. I know the combustion chambers are smaller (58cc).

About the same on intake but the 113s flow better on the exhaust side IIRC.

Depending on the 113 casting they actually flow better than Vortecs especially the Mexican ones. The GMPP 113s had some factory work done on them and outflowed the Mexican 062s sold since 2005 era.
