Hey all, I'm looking to hopefully find junkyards with some 3rd gens in them. I wasn't sure where to ask but I'll try here. I'm in the KY Lexington area and wanted to see if anyone spotted any camaros in junkyards in KY at all or near Lexington.

 

I don't know of any cars for sale but a guy in Irvine has a 3rd gen junkyard with a bunch of Camaros/Firebirds if interested.

 

Typical junkyards have very few cars older than 10-20 years. Although people are still looking for parts, there are less and less of them on the roads. Newer vehicles in the junkyards are more profitable.

When I bought my car back in 1999, there were still a few second gens in the junkyards but not very many.

 

Same thing here in Kentucky. Don't see many 3rd gens anymore.

Here is an 84 Z28 that I saw in Louisville last weekend
