Junkyards in CT Area
I'm looking for some yards around the CT area with decent 3rd gens. Places locally don't have #@$%. Anyway, your help will be appreciated.

every yard around the state seems to have 3 or so third gens. most are picked over, sometimes you can find what you need. it would be nice to find one that has a lot of them.

Here's a list of things I'm looking for:
-Passenger door plastic trim with a decnt weather strip
-Decent center console (AKA not cracked or seperated)
-Manual shift plate with auto window buttons
-Bolt to hold one of the rear bottom bucket seats from flying all over the place when I drive
-Overhead console?
-Hatch motor
-Hubcaps for my 15x7 Turbo Casts (probably a long shot, so I intend to buy fiberglass replicas)
-Door handle on passenger side in Med grey (the screw that attaches this to the frame of the door apparenly came loose and is stripped somehow - maybe just the screw?)
-Rare/unusual parts I can pass on to people that really need them within Thirdgen
The things I need are'nt really a necessity right now, but definetly things that need tending to sometime. I've tried Boyd's, Kleeman's, and Dean's. With Boy'd I was lucky enough to find a part for my Z24 Cav, but apparently said the same thing smokefan said. They are just hard to come by in the area.
The thing that also sucks about CT is that most junkyards won't allow you to walk on the property. I'd like to be able to find the little things I need and the things I don't. Some yards feel so put off just to look for a trim piece. It's like they have millions of better things to look for. Whatever.

chuck and eddie's in southington isn't too shabby. it's a pretty big yard, i'd say on average, the times that i have gone there, they had about 10-15 third gens.

Yup-- I live in Southington & I found they usually have a few around. And they let you walk through, bring your own tools and remove what you need. Haven't been in awhile- need some sheet metal for rust repair.
Pandolfe's in Berlin, don't know how they are.
