PCV - A/C Delco 06487779 vs. Others

All,

I've ordered an A/C Delco PCV valve
Amazon.com: ACDelco CV774C (06487779) Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve : Automotive Amazon.com: ACDelco CV774C (06487779) Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve : Automotive
as I've always had better results going OEM vs. China or equivalent. My current knock off PCV rattles but the barrel that slides up and down is very loose and unpredictable whether or not it will seal under vacuum and release during throttle and load. I can apply vacuum with random results.

Has anyone else experienced similar results with a bad, out of the box knock off brand like a STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS V178 ?

I generally only buy OEM if I can, and from Rock Auto mostly.
Amazon can't be trusted not to be counterfeit unless its from one of they're stores, like the "Delco store."
If the part is just in what you might call "general Amazon inventory," im not buying it.
