Tests

Alright, I need some simple tests for u-joings and wheel bearings. If necessary I can jack up one end of the car. I think I can also get underneath the car for a small amount of time at an oil change place as per vaders suggestion. Now I just need to know what I am looking for.
Any info will be good

If they are bad you'll most likely hear it or feel it when you drive and turn. If you even suspect they are bad, I'd just change them. You don't want to be driving with bad wheel bearings, and this stuff is relatively cheap anyway.

To test u joints. Hold the drive shaft in one hand and the differential yoke in the other and turn opposite of eachother. ANY ANY ANY movement is bad. ANY. The same goes with the front U joint with the tranny yoke. You can normally tell worn U joints if when you put it into drive or reservse, it make a big clunk sound. I think the U joints were my problem, but turned out to be the WHOLE rear end.
