Compressor part

Compressor part

Where can I find the part circled in red, is it a necessity if I want my compressor fixed. Can’t find it!

If it's that bracket you're asking about, junkyard.

Very eeeeeeezzzzy to make something that works perfect. A piece of bar stock for example.

Sure. Of course. You "could" probably "run it" with hardly ANY brackets at all.

Would you LIKE IT? would it LAST? would it be RIGHT? those are WHOLE OTHER matters.

Make a efffffing bracket out of a piece of about 1/8" x ¾" strip stock; drill 2 holes in it; put a Z-bend in it; and bolt it to the intake manifold where that stock bracket would go (below the throttle linkage) and the hole on top of the big bracket. Too simple.

Been a long time ago but on one of the GM models we threw those brackets away as they rubbed the hood.
