Engine tech rebuild kits?

Does anyone have anyone have any experience with these kits? The price is attractive and I would love some feedback before I decide on purchasing one. The kit is a re-ring kit for a 305 sbc. The engine it will be going in is a somewhat hopped up 305.

Better off with higher quality parts and ordering from summit or jegs.

10-4! I was wondering about the quality based on the pricing, but it was attractive enough to get some opinions.

Re: Engine tech rebuild kits?

I have been looking at the kits from Northern. They combine a lot of high quality parts and assemble them into a kit for what I think is a pretty decent price.

Re: Engine tech rebuild kits?

Enginetech parts are re-boxed from different manufacturers.

Their pistons are Silvolite, their bearings are King, I'm pretty sure that their cam bearings are Durabond, etc.

The bottom line is that they are all good quality parts. I have been using them for years now, and my daily driver has a bunch of Enginetech parts in it.

I have a bunch of Enginetech parts sitting on the shelf for my next LS swap.
