i got a sbc 400 for my 85 camaro i took the power steering and ac bracket driver side out of a donor car and im puting it in the main car right now. i bolted everything up and flipped the header bolt to put on the ac bracket on the driver side. but when everything is bolted up the power steering isn’t aligned with the bottom pulley.

Not sure what this means. Doesn't sound right at all though.
Here's what the brackets, on a header, on a 400, should look like. Eeeeeezzzzzyest way is, to use the stock stud things for the 2 front DS manifold bolts, and make a spacer out of something - ANYTHING, like maybe water pipe or some such - to make the sum of the header flange plus the spacer, equal to the thickness of the manifold. The pic speaks for itself.
