Getting a whole lot of smoke on passenger side, coming from header collector area/starter area (at least it comes up there). I have been fighting a th700 pan gasket and rusted out crossmember bolts for the last week and now when starting up, after the engine gets warm, I get this smoke which also left a white residue on plug wires 6 & 8. Of course it could be spilled dexron burning up but it didnt do this last time, like 3-4 days ago. I don't dare keep the thing running while looking for too long in case it actually catches fire. What would be your best guess?

 

Never mind. It stopped. Probably me spraying wd40 on the exhaust when I re-threaded the crossmember bolts for the tranny. Phew!
