2.8 coolant sensor for gauge not light

How can i identify what sensor is used for the water temp gauge, i know this engine has like 4 or 5 different water sensors. I see online that some sensors only have the single blade and some don't for the connection. I am trying to get the correct sensor that i can use an adapter for my LS1 for water temp for my stock gauge V6 car

Should just be a csi timer switch for older 2.8, cts 2 wire for ecm and single wire head sender for gauge .
