Fel-Pro 1205 v. AFR 6900 (formerly 6810) Gaskets

If you own AFR 195 street heads you know for gaskets AFR suggest AFR 6810’s or Fel Pro 1205’s.

However, once you go searching for the AFR 6810 you discover they are out of stock/unavailable/out of production. It’s as if they never really existed…

So, what the hell AFR? Do you want me to use the Fel Pro? Are you guys getting kick backs?

But just to F’ with you, they note that if you use the Fel Pro then you should not gasket match. Wait…what…you suggest a gasket that does not fit. How far off is it?

This question tormented me. And because the AFR 6810’s are no longer available I accepted that I would never know.

Then I stumbled upon it. AFR silently discontinued the 6810 andnow suggests the AFR 6900 for 195 street heads. So here they are.

Thanks for the heads up. There are some 1205 heads and intakes at my friend's place.
