wanna run 12's
hey guys, I'm saving up some money for some heads(maybe eldelbrock alluminum) and cam,runners,headers throttle body. etc. what would it take to get my car running about12.5 in the 1/4? would the things I listed about do that? also I'm planning on rebuilding the motor also.

You said you ran 14.2 now right? That mean you have to drop 2 seconds. What gears do you have in their now. If 2:73s, go w/ 3:73s (since you plan to mod the TPI) and a higher stall TC. That should drop you 1 second right there. Now with heads and a cam, and headers that should drop you close to another second right there. At worst you'll be at 13 flat I would think. Of course this is just my opinion.

Don't spend your money on a TB, its not needed. Theres better things u can use that $$ on.
