Have 350 TPI, car starts fine. When shift into a gear the car will die. I can shift into neu. without problems. When I shift into either rev. or drive its seems like there is no power to keep the eng. running. Yes the car needs a tune up. I was just wandering what you guys think.

 

why don't you ask us again after you do the tune up...

 

As part of your "tune up", you might want to remember to clean the throttle body and IAC air passages. To complete the procedure, you should always check the TPS voltage and adjust as necessary.

i would agree with vader, clean iac and iac passage, and also clean the throttle body. might want to use carb/choke cleaner. best of luck, tom

 

Off the wall guess here, but could be the TCC is locked up...jst something to check.

Can't be too far out of tune to idle in gear, since it starts right up???
