If you have Sep. Mounted Coil 1989 RS
If you have Sep. Mounted Coil 1989 RS
If someone can do me a favor.. If you have a 1989 RS Camaro with a separate ignition coil.. I need you to go look and there are
4 wires connected to it by 2 plugs.. Both plugs have a red and a
white wire.. There are 2 wires from the Ignition module under
distributor.( red and white) And there are 2 wires coming from
the wireing harness.( red and white). They both plug into the
coil pack.. I just need to know how they go.. See I dont have the
original plug ends. I only have 4 wires that each have its own
medal connector on it that just slides in the 4 holes on the coil..
I just need to know how the wires go..
Please someone Help me..
Thats all thats wrong with my camaro
If you need a diagram of the coil. I can send you one in e-mail.
You just label the wires in from MS Paint..
Thanks a lot.

ok, the white wires go to seperate terminals on the coil, the ones at the outside, it doesnt make a differnce which, they are connected internally, same with the pink(other than the go to the inside terminals), just so you know, it will run with the two from the distributor and the pink from the harnness hooked up, the white from the harness is for the tach
