the Low Down on the 2 bolt mains
im about to buy a 350.. and i have just came across a good one, but its a 2 bolt main.. i heard they just wont take the revs... thats it... what all do you guys know?

If your that worried then just have the main caps splayed. This is the strongest method of getting a four bolt main. The new outer two bolts go into the block at an angle. This will make yours stronger than factory four bolts.

I have a 2 bolt 355 sitting under my tuned port fuel injection and even though I don't know how much HP it's making I can tell you this, I've revved it to 5,500 Rpms many times and haven't had any problems.
Unless you're going to be making a crazy engine, and putting a power adder(and not just a little one, I mean S/C or Turbo AND NOS).. dont' worry about it. it the engine is built right, and you're staying under 400hp area, with some serious torque. a two bolt main cap isn't going to just fly off and ruin everything.
