Oil use question????
Gentlemen,
I would like suggestions as to the type of oil to use for a 350 CI. chevy that has less than 2000 miles per year put on it. Also the recommemded drain intervials for suggested oil.
This unit will sit uncranked in storage for two or three months at a time and then sometimes it may be run two or three times a week for a couple of weeks.
All help would be appreciated!

Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
AMSOIL 15W-40 diesel & marine synthetic ( http://www.amsoil.com/products/ame.html ). It has extra corrosion inhibitors for those storage periods, will provide good protection when it's started.
Change oil and filter once a year.
