The dummies are for after the cats on OBD2 cars (96-up in f-bodies)

OBD2 uses 2 sets of O2s, one in front of the cats for normal purposes, and one behind the cats to make sure the cats are working properly. If you gut the cats, the second O2s will see it and set a code. Dummies send the 'right' signal to the ecm, thus no code.

OKay, next question. Seems the ECM likes to see a 600mv before it accepts the o2 sensor as working/not working and allowing the car to go into closed loop. Can you reprogram the chip to make that value like 500mv vs 600mv?
