I know alot of people around here have homemade CAI for there cars. IS there any way of doing this on a MAF car? I have an 87 Formula 350 and cannot stand the craptacular factory air induction anymore. So anyone who has done this or knows how to please chime in. I'm sitting on a lowes gifty certificate and would love to pick up some PCV and get creative, so any ideas are welcome.

Does anyone know if the position of the MAF is important? Can I locate it closer to the engine or does it have to be a certain distance away?

Please, anyone who knows how to do this or has, please chime in with some ideas/pointers.

 

Anyone? I read the write up in the tech section. Here's the deal. I have a K & N filter, but it's the stock replacement one and i really don't want to basically waste it and have to get the conical one in the write up. Is there anyway to use this filter?
