Have any of you ever heard of a miller cycle engine, i was thinking of maybe converting.

Yeah, it would work. But you'd pretty much have to engineer every aspect of it, and the cost wouldn't be worth the benefit. Just think about the cost and work involved in installing a supercharger into a thirdgen. There was a discussion on this topic about two or three years ago with a lot of interesting ideas and theories. You may be able to find it in a search (unless that was on the old, old board...?).

You'd also have to find someone who could grind the cam for that application, especially in a SBC; and I don't think anybody does.

Do you want the Miller Cycle effect in your V8, or drop in a Miller cycle V6? A Miller Cycle V8 would be quite trick.
