How many horse??
Restoring an 83 rust bucket....how many horse do you guys think i could possible expect here......

Depending on cam anywere between 200-240 hp is possible with stock piston 305. If you were to replace the pistons with FT's or semi dished I would expect closer to 240hp at the crank.

hmmm....240 doesnt seem bad......yeah well maybe next year when i have the car off the road. I've never really dug into the engine..but i just blew up the 305 in my monte.. i'm gonna use that motor for practice..............all i want is to have some "pull" to it.....i want to scare the people in the passenger seat .................
