Bloated MSD's?? What happened? Pic>
Check These out
I dont know what in the world caused this
The wires only have maybe 1000 miles on them or less
I'm running a MSD 6al and coil/cap/rotor
About half were either bloated or starting to bloat
What do you think caused this ??
BTW I had them far enough away from any heat for this to be a problem ....or atleast Should have been far enough away

It appears that either your wires are pregnant or they are destroying themselve from the inside out. A wire break or high resistance area, may be causing the creation of ozone. The insulation breakdown under the outer jacket and the gas pressure of the ozone may be causing the jacket to expand. I'll bet they don't last much longer. Either the wires were mechanically damaged on installation or in handling, or they were inferior to begin with. Lower resistance Packard wires might be a good place to start.
If you're lucky they'll give birth and you'll have some little wires running around.
If they're only a month old I'd just take them back for a refund/exchange... they are obviously done for. Heat would not cause this... the silicone would just dry out and crack.
