Is the difference in these cams worth the difference in$?
Ok, I'm stuck between http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...RTNUMBER=51002 that cam and this cam http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...RTNUMBER=51006 I can get 51002 for $258.50, and 51006 for SLP's price of $339.95 It's going into an '87 Z28, 305 TPI. My plans are Edelbrock headers, Edelbrock exhaust, Edelbrock intake base, SLP runners, Crane gold race rockers, and S/R Torquer 305 heads. Is the difference between the 2 enough to be worth the extra money with these plans in mind? I think my LB9 is supposed to have the 'peanut' cam, right? Thanks.

Heck no, but you can get very similar cams from comp and crane for a lot less, or get the Hot cam, stats are similar to the second cam you were looking at, and I've seen it as cheap as 166.50
