140 MPH Speedometer

What year did the 140 mph speedometer come in the camaro's?? I'm ordering it from the dealer at cost, so I need to know what year to tell them.

Also, will this fit in a 1984 Trans Am? Thanks

Why are you getting a camaro speedo? It will not fit your T/A, and you will need to recalibrate your car to have a corect 140.

Unless anyone knows of a Firebird speedometer that goes higher than 85 mph that will fit.
