the manifold on my 89rs has a hole in it about the size of a penny. is it possible to weld a patch over this hole or should i just forget it, go out and buy a ford focus and pretend i have a sporty car? thanks:hail:

Don't assume that it's the intake manifold. Ask him and find out. That way you know he's not asking about an exhaust manifold, oh ye of little curiousity.

i'm always in a mood. mentioning the intake was an attempt at a response as to which manifold it was, but he never replied that it wasn't an intake he's having a problem with. actually, he never replied anything automotive.
