Looking for a good set of lifters, please help

Hi, Evidently the a lifter or a few have gone bad on my girlfriend's 383 TPI T/A. I am looking to get a set of durable lifters, better than stock to handle a pretty healthy cam (Don't have specs)

Thanks,
Clint

most people don't make thier own lifters so who ever you get them from most likely will be the same part.

When you buy the cam, get the lifters in a kit with it. It's cheaper that way.

Don't put new lifters on an old cam. That will almost certainly wipe them both out. Even if it doesn't, you'll need new ones when you put a new cam in. Do it all at once.

Thanks for the replies

I have learned a lot. I tried adjusting the rocker arms, and that solved the problem. Thanks for all of the information.
