i hear all this talk about "swapping engines" . i got a 305 and i want to get a 350. how much do they cost & where can i maybe find one for purchasing? thnks

 

They range in $. What kind of performance are you looking for. Are emissions a problem? I got mine for $1290, but if you want 14s or better you'd have to change out the cam and do some minor mods. The best bang for the buck is the ZZ4 330hp or so, which is carbed with aluminum heads I believe, at around $3000, but don't quote me on it. Also, if emissions are real strict GM does sell a 350HO 330-350hp not exactly sure, which will pass emissions.
