WOT Low Shift RPMs'

At WOT my car only shifts at like 4000 RPMS. I know it's not the tach because my friend's stock 350 beat me Could it be the TPS? Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks

That could very possibly be a misadjusted TV cable. If that's not it get a governer that will let you shift higher. Something like 6000 RPM. Why dont you try to shift it yourself when you race ? Hold it in 1, 2, D and OD manually until 5500-6000 RPM.

Transmission: MD8 (700 R4) + 3.42 LS1 Rear
try the tranny board then maybe trasnfixleo & pro-built can help you out for sure. does it do it in OD shft @ 4000? my car sometimes would shift a 3500 @ WOT in OD. if i use D it will always shift @ 5500 WOT. this was with properly adjusted TV cable,

Either of these 2 will be your problem.
